Present status / Problem statement
He lost his parents and is presently living with his grandmother. His grandma cleans vessels in nearby houses by which she manages to take care of him. However her health is in a bad condition and she can't do this regularly. So the child goes to pick flowers in the morning and to school thereafter. On holidays he engages in cattle work in other houses. He struggles at times to even purchase a notebook.

His father was affected by HIV and died when he was 4 year old and then her mother also died as she was affected. She is under the care of his aunty. But his life if miserable as she don't like him. As there is no other way for him other than to be with her. He is duing domestic work also in holidays and daily morning he is going to flower picking and earn Rs.10 per days.

Velmurugan's father left him and his mother when he was 4 years old. His mother engages in beedi-rolling work to take care of him and to meet the family needs. They live in a 50-year-old thatched roof house. They are a very poor family and have no one for support. He picks flowers in the morning and earns 10 rupees daily to help his mother and then goes to school.

She lost her mother by cancer. Father is doing collie work(daily wages). Very low paid as he cant do heavey work because of his health. She and her sister(Kowsalya) themselves cook and eat. As both are interested to study and become successful , eventhough they have lot of problem coming forward to evening school to study.
